Privately owned and run by Claire & Gerard who bought the Beaches in June 2018. They had a dream of running their own guest house & after a few years of searching for the right one they came across The Beaches & fell in love with it on first sight. Previously Claire worked for the NHS as a mental health nurse and Ged ran a home based retail business. For many years they hosted overseas teenage students in their home & acted as their surrogate parents whilst they were living in the UK. Claire also has experience of the hospitality industry having been bought up in a guest house her parents run. It would appear hospitality runs in the genes. Our aim here at The Beaches is to offer a warm welcome & a homely experience for our guests where special memories are made. Some added extra touches to make your stay special & memorable.

The Beaches B & B is a 4* Silver AA rated guest house. It is a beautiful period property located in an ideal position just a 50 yard stroll to Preston Sands and a 200 yard level walk to Paignton Beach and the local shops/eateries with 4 free car parking spaces which we make available for our guests. The owners, Gerard & Claire offer their guests a warm and friendly welcome at the fully refurbished Beaches B and B providing quality, modern, bright and spacious accommodation which offers a home from home experience. We provide a choice of rooms including single, double, twin and family bedrooms. The family suites have inter-connecting doors giving the children a fun bedroom of their own and privacy for the adults. Every room has a flat screen digital television, hot drinks tray, and complimentary WiFi. Locally sourced free range pork products are available for breakfast alongside high quality products with a variety of choices to suit all tastes & dietary requirements. We also offer home cooked evening meals at this time (Oct-April). The Beaches guest house is in a very convenient location a few metres from the sandy beaches of Preston Sands & Paignton Beach.We are a 10 minute walk to the local shops/eateries. We are surrounded by the beautiful coastline of South Devon with interesting towns and villages to discover including Babbacombe, Brixham, Torquay and Cockington. Whether you're a couple, visiting as a single person or a family group there are many local attractions to visit to suit every interest.
