This would make a great base for exploring much of Scotland. We are around 2.5 - 3 hours drive from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth, Dundee, Inverness. From Oban you can catch ferries to visit the Islands of Mull, Lismore, Tiree, Coll, Colonsay, Barra and Uist. Tarbert is around 1.5 hours drive where you can catch ferries to Islay and Jura Glen Coe is around 40 minutes drive, Inveraray & Fort William about 1 hour. Mallaig (the ferry to Skye) around 2 hours. The Isle of Skye bridge is about 2.5 - 3 hours drive. Free parking at property. Bus stop across the road and train station across the bridge.
