Location was lovely and everyone we met locally were all very friendly. There is an equestrian centre next door and they were all friendly too! The decking area was a good touch and outside space food for the dogs. I was a bit worried about the...

Amazing location, with lovely rolling farm and countryside views. Bertha's Box is a small but perfectly formed accommodation, that is both quirky and comfortable. The facilities are well appointed and the shower especially is powerful.

Bertha has a King size bed in the luton of the cab & double sofa bed in the living area. The Bathroom is situated in the adjacent horse trailer with all the facilities you would expect including a large walk in power shower. Bertha is perfect for couples or families, the bed over the cab providing lots of fun for adults & kids alike! The views from the raised decking looking straight towards Ross-on-Wye & the River Wye. The river can be accessed from the farm via the underpass.
Farmers in Herefordshire looking to share my love of the countryside. We are a working family farm, so someone is always around & you can see us as much or as little as you like.
Whether you want to trot into town, jump into the River Wye or canter to the nearest pub, we're sure we'll have something you love. Located within 500 acres of our Herefordshire family farm with plenty of walks & plenty of pubs. The market town of Ross-on-Wye is only a mile away. For those that want to delve a little further, The Malverns, Forest of Dean & South Wales are a stones throw away. Whilst Bertha is set in a secluded field, the A40 is not a million miles away, it's fantastic for access but there is a certain amount of road noise. Not enough to ruin your stay, but worth mentioning. Although there is good access to local buses a car is a wise choice for exploring the local area.
