A few steps over the dunes from the garden takes you onto the beautiful sandy beach of Traeth Llydan (Broad beach) which stretches south to the beaches of Traeth Tyn Towyn beach and Porth Nobla and north to Rhosneigr, around half a mile's sandy walk away. Sawna Bach is at Traeth Tyn Towyn beach - wood-fired bliss after a brisk swim. In holiday season Dreamboat parks up next to the Sawna Bach, a family run Anglesey based vintage food truck serving pop-up pizzas, organic coffee and vegan and vegetarian food. It's a must visit with the family. But if you prefer more active pursuits, you can go beach combing along the coast, or conquer the challenge of the kite surfing, paddleboarding, sailing, kayaking and golf at Rhosneigr. For those that like their planes, Rhosneigr main beach clips the edge of the runway, so pop and watch the jets. The path inland over the dunes takes you to the Oyster Catcher Restaurant to grab a beer at the Dune bar or eat in or buy a take-out meal from the Shack. A walk to Rhosneigr village provides an array of amazing places to wine and dine. Mojos for crepes, the Sandy Mount House for a meal and a pint or Scarlett’s for fish and chips.Café Noto and Chaplins for ice cream. Plus, a small local grocery shop that has just about everything. Janet Bell Gallery is worth a mooch. You’re minutes from the Anglesey coastal path for shoreline walks or take your pick of the beaches. Down the coast find Aberffraw with its little tea shop and Porth Cwyfan (the famous Church on the Island). Head further afield to Eryri (Snowdonia), Menai Bridge with its eateries and boutique shops, or Beaumaris for another jolly seaside village – with a castle If you fancy bringing friends and extended family, Borth Bach is attached next door and sleeps 4.
