It was lovely to be in a small and friendly hotel. The room was excellent and the staff smiley, helpful and genuinely wanting us to have everything we needed. The room was comfy and quiet, even though next to the road. We only stayed one night, on comour way to the ferry but managed a beautiful walk through Menai Bridge.

A wonderful modern, minimalist room, finished to a high standard with everything you need for a comfortable stay in Menai Bridge. The location is right in the middle of the bars and restaurants yet a very peaceful night can be had, we loved it. We stopped in room Dre, a queen sized bed and an amazing bathroom, beautiful decor, and a top quality smart speaker included, what more does anyone need! The host Jane was very welcoming and we can highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the beautiful island of Anglesey. Also, very cheap car parking right across the road , £5 for an overnight stay.

The lodge and games room were fantastic. Everywhere was immaculate, beautifully decorated and had all facilities you could need. Attention to detail was second to none. The icing on the cake is a lovely outdoor area where you can relax and enjoy the countryside location.

Love this place - it's generally unpretentious and laid back. Some lovely cafes, restaurants and shops within the town itself. Obviously scenic with the straits and bridges and view over to the mainland and Snowdonia beyond. Just love watching the boats to-ing and fro-ing and the movement of 'the Swellies'. Some great boat trips directly from the jetty. Shame to see a few empty shops, but no different from many small towns these days. I like it better out of season. The local people are lovely, and interesting to talk to.

A town which has retained its identity despite its proximity to Bangor. A good place to visit despite ongoing problems with the bridge. Scenically pleasant and with a strong Welsh identity. Church Island is a pleasnt walk accessible to the town.

Nice town in good location with excellent options for eating, drinking and shopping. Good base for exploring Anglesey with local walks as well. We had excellent take-away from Jade Village and the fish and chip shop, good meal in +39 bistro and had nice drinks on the terrace of Victoria Hotel (where the menu also looked good but we didn’t eat there). There are many other restaurant and drinking options which others who had stayed in our accommodation recommended, which we hope to try on our next visit - this is somewhere we definitely hope to go back to.

Never been before but will definitely be returning.

Never been before but will definitely be returning. Fantastic scenery. If you like walking then there are loads of walks to do which I'm looking forward to experiencing. Everyone is very friendly. Language is predominantly Welsh which was lovely to hear. Lots of little nik nak shops that you wouldn't normally see on the high street. If you're looking for major high street stores then you wouldn't find them here. It was lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle of large towns.

There is a bike maintenance shop in town. We are cyclists so important to have this. Also other pubs and food outlets etc. We ate in the Anglesey Arms. Had the fixed menu in the evening twice. Good value & tasty.

Menai Bridge is a lovely town, full of cafes, bars and a variety of places to eat and importantly, lots of independent local shops. The bridge, of course is the highlight, it is a really attractive feature - probably the most attractive bridge I have ever encountered. There are boat trips to Puffin Island which as you probably guessed hosts a colony of puffins between April and August, a wonderful sight!

The size of the property was ideal for our family get together. The conservatory was a great space to have available as it was so large. The en-suite bathroom as well as the main bathroom and downstairs toilet made the morning scrum to get up smoother too. Location was close to Menai Bridge for eating out and Waitrose.

Great chance to stay in the original Ferryman's bothy, able to wander out and catch high and low tides under the Menai Bridge. The cottage was really imaginatively restored to make it suitable for bijou holiday accommodation.
