Beaumaris is a must if you're visiting Anglesey.
Beaumaris is a must if you're visiting Anglesey. The town is compact and easily navigated from the castle at one end to the tidal beaches at the other. In between you will find something for everyone. Fish and chips for lunch, a Victorian pier for crabbing and accessing tours to Puffin Island, and lots of smiling faces.
It doesn't matter what the weather is, there is always something to see and do.

Beaumaris is a really pretty town, full of interesting...
Beaumaris is a really pretty town, full of interesting independent shops, crafts, a fantastic bakery and a large range of nice tea rooms and cafes. I'd recommend the Liverpool Arms for a good reasonably priced meal with a varied menu, including vegetarian options, and the' Echo Beach' shop for unique hand made gifts and friendly owners. Also a visit to Plas Newydd to see red squirrels!

Loved our Apartment...everything you could wish for, with a...
Loved our Apartment...everything you could wish for, with a short walk to the Pier, and through to the town. Lucky with the weather, so spent time strolling around, investigating all the eateries and shops. Loved our boat trip to Puffin Island...great fun, family run, and great commentary on Anglesey and the wildlife we saw, including Puffins.
A gentle, relaxing atmosphere, with friendly people all through the area.
Will be back, basing at same Apartment, exploring the Island.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Beaumaris was a very nice town with some lovely independent shops and cafes and a couple of chip shops, and a good choice of pubs.
There were sightseeing boat trips from the harbour and a nice pier to walk along

Beaumaris is a very attractive small town with beutiful...
Beaumaris is a very attractive small town with beutiful views. There is lots to do in town, and many independent shops. The Castle itself is interesting, as are the old courthouse and the goal. Coffee Shops, bars, pubs and restaurants are numerous. It is an excellent base from which to explore Anglesey and Snowdonia as well.
A trip to the Penmon Priory is recommended and then just a little further along the Penmon lighthouse and charming cafe are worth a visit.

Beaumaris is a great little town but then I would say that...
Beaumaris is a great little town but then I would say that as I grew up there. My only gripe is that they are absolutely not adapted to EVs and so charging would mean a 20 minute each way trip. However for most EV owners this is not a reason not to go there, just don't rely on being able to charge while there. However the scenery is outstanding and the town is friendly with all the facilities you could ask for.

A lovely combination of old pub/inn on one side of the road and modern hotel rooms on the other. It's very comfortable and quite luxurious.
The place is very well maintained and clean. The food is good. The old bar is a nice place to sit and drink a beer after a long drive to Anglesey!
It's a great location too. We have tried other local options and always come back.

Location was away from Beaumaris, but literally 5 mins by car and a lovely 30 min walk away. House was perfect for our family of 9. Spacious, extremely well looked after and exactly what we needed. Enough room for 3 cars to park safely. All adults and all children give it the thumbs up. Brilliant base for sightseeing and adventures in Anglesey.

Old school hotel, amazing location and views from Anglesey to Snowdonia. Lovely room with twin windows over the Menai Strait. Good breakfast, hot and cold choices... nice sausages... friendly staff. Nice bar with JW Lees beers. A pleasure to stay here.

Liverpool Arms is perfectly positioned for all Beaumaris has to offer. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, facilities are great and the food in the pub is excellent
