Excellent staff, couldn’t be more helpful if they tried and really spoilt our puppy who came along for the journey too. Absolutely stunning place already looking to come back in the new year. Moved us to a different table when asked due to our puppy being reactive to other dogs in the restaurant.

What an amazing property. We were greeted with an amazing staff who were not only accommodating but personable. Really liked Kenneth. He made us feel at home. Being a fan of the show the prisoner, it felt otherworldly to be in this setting. Highly, highly recommended. The staff were excellent in all departments and tried to maintain high standards for customers satisfaction.. Even during a power cut in the evening when it was dark, due to a tornado,, the staff were helpful and professional, did not panic and dealt well in the situation. We arrived as strangers and left as friends.

Conwy is a wonderfully livable and relaxed town that retains an authentic local character without feeling overwhelmed by tourists. Beyond its impressive medieval castle and historic walls, it is extremely well-connected, with convenient train links and regular regional buses to nearby towns and surrounding hiking areas. We particularly enjoyed The Erskine Arms, which quickly became our favorite spot in town. A single week was nowhere near enough—we could have easily spent much more time here. Highly recommended as a destination and base for exploring North Wales!

The best part of Bangor is great connectivity of public transport. You can dive into Snowdonia areas via Sherpa buses, you can get direct trains to London, you can easily goto Holyhead for people travelling to Ireland, it is easier to commute from there. Bangor has a beautiful sea view, and is very clean and scenic area.

You need a car to get about really. We didn't have one so a bit remote. Not many shops and some are up a high hill. People are friendly. Beautiful place and beach. Prestatyn train station access is a disgrace for the disabled, carers, elderly and little ones. There is no lift to take you up? Just a massive ramp that goes on forever. Please install a working lift to go up and down!
