Very picturesque property in a picturesque location. Warmly welcomed like a friend into their home, it’s family run and that’s the difference. The pride in their service shows and it just seems to be natural. Will be back!

The rooms overlooking the fields are especially amazing! Both our two rooms and rest of the facility were beautiful! Staff was very friendly. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. In fact, fish and chips at dinner (with curry sauce) was among best of our entire trip to UK. Great location near Conwy, but in the gorgeous countryside. I will definitely recommend The Groes Inn to everyone and return in the future!

At the foothills of some beautiful hills and mountain just behind the hotel. Go up the hill past Ye Olde Bull Inn and there’s a small car park for three or four cars and you can walk some very beautiful footpath or even hike up to the top of a 3000+ foot mountain.

It was all perfect. From the moment we arrived we were very happy with everything that we saw - it was like a little home away from home. We had informed our hosts that we had booked the glamping pod as part of our mini moon and we were kindly greeted to a small gift as 'newly weds', complete with aritificial rose petals on the bed - this was a very nice touch. Despite the weather we were able to use the hot tub which was just what we needed to relax in and enjoy looking out across the countryside. The glamping pod had everything we needed, including a small milk already in the fridge. It was very clean, modern and well planned out. We took a little trip into Conwy which was easy to get to and went out for breakfast and a little wander around the town. We would highly reccommend this glamping pods to family and friends and would love to come back for another visit in the future!

The town of Conwy is quaint and attractive.

The town of Conwy is quaint and attractive. Leaving aside the famous medieval castle which is an adventure in itself, we enjoyed browsing in some of the many art and gift shops - and the quayside provides a superb view across the river estuary.

Conwy is a wonderfully livable and relaxed town that retains an authentic local character without feeling overwhelmed by tourists. Beyond its impressive medieval castle and historic walls, it is extremely well-connected, with convenient train links and regular regional buses to nearby towns and surrounding hiking areas. We particularly enjoyed The Erskine Arms, which quickly became our favorite spot in town. A single week was nowhere near enough—we could have easily spent much more time here. Highly recommended as a destination and base for exploring North Wales!

Very compact town with a lot to see. Feels like you have stepped back in time. Really good walk by the river on a good surface Beautiful views across the river to the hills. Castle provides an authentic historical back drop to everything. Well worth a visit.

I wish I had spent less time there, or even skipped the place. Conwy Castle is the main attraction, but Caernarfon Castle is in much better shape and there isn't a big plus to see both. I didn't enjoy the town as I expected since it is super tiny and parking is challenging. Some of the streets and common areas in the village are filthy. Lancaster Square, which is the first stop on the Rick Steves city tour, is almost completely covered with bird crap - it is so gross! The fact that the city just ignores it exposes their level of caring for their visitors.

Lovely town full of independent shops and cobblestone streets. Lots of history and histrionical houses and castle to visit. Lovely harbour with old cottages and Liverpool pub right on harbour. Great coastal walks where you can see boats and backdrop of castle. Travel to llandudno not far away ,don't take car as there are loads of buses every half hour. Conwy tours, castle , ghost walks, and loverly town square to sit and have lunch Railway central if coming by train. Would highly recommend Conwy.

The room was gorgeous, sumptuously decorated and the bed extremely comfortable. It had a bay window over the street with an expresso machine and an armchair to enjoy your morning coffee. The hotel has a great location, just a short walk from the Castle and the Harbour.

Excellent location. Lovely view of the castle and town walls. Parking would have been a bit tricky in the station car park but we were lucky enough to get into one of the three bays opposite the hotel reserved for overnight guests.
