Just a beautiful little private space in the most picturesque place in the whole world. Such a reprieve from a busy London and Edinburgh. The host was very personable with just the right amount of communication. We stayed in seven different lodgings on this road trip and this was our favorite.

Our host was incredibly friendly, personal, and helpful. The home was super clean. The bedrooms are a little tight, but we made it work. Everything in the home worked as expected. We had an incredible view. We wouldn't have stayed anywhere else.

my husband and i enjoyed our stay at applebys guest house--our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated in soft soothing colors with a seaside theme which was so appropriate for this location--our host carole was very kind and extremely helpful to us plus she prepared delicious breakfasts each day--we are so fortunate to have happened upon the listing for applebys guest house on booking.com--as i said to carole when we were leaving "i wish we had planned to stay longer"

Away from it all, couple of days. Quite remote with gorgeous views looking out to sea especially as we were fortunate with the weather. Tastefully decorated shabby chic style and practically everything you need provided. The most comfortable of beds and a fantastic powerful shower. Easy access to lovely coastal walks. Great communication from the owner. We would recommend and hope to return.

We have been going to the Isle of Anglesey for over 30 years plus. Each time we find something new to look at when we stay whether it be a landmark, beach or holiday let. Holyhead has also changed over the years now with more choice for shopping and changes to the harbour front where some of the old seating shelters have been changed to small food and coffee making the visit to the harbour more lovely in the?summer months.

Perfect location for me and my partner and our two dogs. Secure garden was the big appeal for us. Private and peaceful. 35 minutes from Newbourgh Forest, 15 minutes from Rhosneigr Ostyer Catcher. And a lovely Chinese Takeaway 4 minutes away. Lee's Garden.

Holyhead is a cute, unassuming, seaside village in Northern Wales. A jump on/off spot for catching the ferry to Dublin Ireland. The town is clean and quiet. Not touristy or overdone. Worth an overnight visit for the wayward traveler.

Great location for train and Ferry terminal, all within walking distance to the room. The Main Street was a few minutes walk away where an assortment of eateries and pubs could be found. The room was clean and cozy with very comfy beds. Great pub right next door for a drink or suggestions on where to eat! Our host was very friendly and helped us find our way to the train the next day. We will stay here again if we come back to Holyhead.

Very simple family room, comfortable and clean. Self check-in was very simple. It is ideally located literally two minutes away from Holyhead station and StenaLine ferry terminal. This was basic comfort, but with very good value for money. It was exactly what we needed for an express stay in Holyhead.
