Windermere Marina Village is a private family owned holiday resort and marina that has been established for over 40 years. Just a 15 minute lakeside walk from the heart of Bowness on Windermere the relaxing setting is a haven from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our friendly reception team are available 7 days a week between 9am and 5.30pm to assist with any queries you may have about your property or area whilst staying with us.

Upon entering, leave your coats and boots in the spacious hallway cloakroom before proceeding up the stairs to the bright living room. Take in the views of the secluded lagoon from the private balcony while you relax on the grey leather sofas, dressed with beautiful William Morris fabrics that add warmth and classic character. You can also enjoy entertainment on the TV or simply lose yourself in a good book. Within the lounge area there is a pull-down double bed that folds away when it’s not in use. This is great for larger groups who don’t need three bedrooms. The oak dining table is perfect for catching up on the day's adventures or planning tomorrow’s fell walk or family attraction. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it a joy for chefs. You'll find an electric hob and oven, full size fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher set within the marble countertops. On the ground floor, discover two bedrooms and a family bathroom. Bedroom 2 offers a cosy twin bedroom made up of two single beds, perfect for children. This bedroom can be made up as a super king size bed on request prior to arrival. The family bathroom offers a bath with a shower over it, a WC and hand basin. Whether you prefer a leisurely soak or an invigorating shower, you can take your pick! The Master Bedroom is a light-filled space with great views of the marina. Decorated with elegant Laura Ashley wallpaper and complemented by William Morris cushions, it also features a solid wood wardrobe for your holiday wardrobe, a dressing table and even has its own en-suite shower room with a corner shower, a WC and hand basin. This bedroom can also accommodate a travel cot. Directly outside the cottage, you have private parking for one car. Bowness On Windermere is the gateway to the Lake District. With rail and road connections to all UK major cities it is the perfect location to explore the Lake District with restaurants, shops, cafes and bars all on your doorstep. Regular buses connect Bowness to the quaint towns and villages throughout the Lake District and provide breathtaking views across the many lakes, tarns, fells and valleys in between.
