The open-plan living space includes a kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a sitting area with TV and dining seating. There is a double bedroom serviced by a bathroom. To the outside is residents' parking based on a first come, first served basis. This apartment does not tolerate pets or smoking. Within 0.2 miles there is a shop, pub and restaurant and within 0.3 miles, is Lake Windermere shore. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in rent. Bowness Hideaway is a splendid escape, whatever time of year. Note: Parking accessed uphill, may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility. Note: Travel cot and highchair available. The Old Laundry Theatre and the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction are separated by 1.5 kilometres. It takes 30 minutes to walk to Orrest Head to take in the breathtaking vista of far-reaching views over the lake and nearby fells, which served as the inspiration for Alfred Wainwright to create his series of renowned guidebooks. The historic villages of Grasmere, Ambleside, and Troutbeck are only a short drive away, while Brockhole, which provides high wire tree top activities, is three miles distant. For those with greater energy, marine centres near the lake offer a range of watersports. With easy access to attractions like the stunning Langdales, Beatrix Potter's Hill Top House at Far Sawrey, Coniston, Grizedale Forest Park with its delightful walks and famous outdoor sculptures, mountain biking and "Go-Ape" adventure park, Ullswater, Kendal, and Keswick, stone circles, Roman forts, and England's highest mountain, Scafell Pike, the area is perfectly situated for exploring everything this region has to offer.
