Braeside is a detached cottage in the hamlet of Torver, two miles from Coniston in the Lake District. The cottage sleeps ten people in four bedrooms which are made up of a ground floor king-size double, a ground floor adult bunks and two second floor family rooms with one double and one single room. There are also two bathrooms, a cloakroom, a first floor kitchen, a first floor utility and a first floor sitting room with a dining area and a woodburning stove. Outside there is off road parking for two cars, roadside parking for an additional two cars and a tiered garden with a decked area, furniture and a BBQ. Braeside is in an ideal, tranquil spot close to local amenities. Note: From 01/01/2019 check-in for this property will be from 4pm

The small hamlet of Torver peacefully rests amidst some of the Lake District's most beautiful scenery and provides a welcoming 14th century inn and a 19th century church, built on the site of an ancient chapel. Renowned as one of Wordsworth's favourite haunts, today it’s known locally as a starting point for exploring the local fells and the Duddon Valley and offers a superb base for exploring nearby Hawkshead, Ambleside and Windermere. Excellent walking, mountain biking, climbing and watersports opportunities are available locally on Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam and the lovely woodland trails at Grizedale Forest.
