A newly refurbished 3 bedroom single storey cottage sleeping up to 6 with a panoramic bay window looking over stunning Devon countryside. The large kitchen, fitted with modern German units, seats 6 at the dining table. There is comfy seating for guests to enjoy looking out across the fields or a comfy night in by the fire. Watch the deer, foxes, buzzards, ravens, red kites, kestrels and other wildlife during your stay. No additional cleaning and other costs added when you book.
We are Jenny and Steve. We live in the same village as Briardene Cottage where Jenny was brought up. I am always available at the end of the phone and am happy to pop around and meet you if you would like any advice but I totally respect your privacy unless you contact me.
Briardene Cottage is situated on the outskirts of the city of Exeter but sits in a picturesque valley where you can see the rolling Devon hills from the lounge and back garden. Not only are the famous Exeter cathedral, university and Exeter Quay readily accessible but also Dartmoor, the popular south coast and many National Trust properties such as Castle Drogo and Killerton House, as well as Powderham Castle which hosts a large number of live music events during the year. Exeter itself has a thriving nightlife and many excellent restaurants.
