Hiya my name is Irene and I found this place by accident a couple of years ago, with a holiday voucher and ended up coming here for a doggie holiday. I loved it that much that I ended up returning a few times and then buying this place to which I would like to share with you. A close up and personal look at nature's peephole!

This is a pet friendly, 2 bedroomed self contained chalet at Bridlington's South Shore Holiday Park which overlooks a corn field from the patio decking. It sleeps up to 4 and takes dogs for free. Whilst you sit on the decking with a drink in your hand overlooking agricultural land and watching nature, your dogs can laze on the grass in the enclosed garden. A breakfast table is also outside for you to eat meals at whilst watching swifts fly overhead and bunny rabbits hoppity hopping by. The award winning dog friendly beach is only 150 metres away. On the beach, walk to the left and you are in Bridlington in half an hour on the sand or walk to the right and you are in Fraisthorpe where wind surfers ride the waves and the lovely located farmer's Cow Shed Inn coffee bar which promotes a dog friendly environment with bowls of water everywhere and doggie biscuits on offer. The chalet is on a holiday park 150 yards from the beach. At the entrance, there is a bar/restaurant, launderette and a chippy. For myself, I am happy to sit on the deck with my dog and make my own meals in the fully equipped kitchen or you can get food take away deliveries right to your door for a pound. Please note there is a coin meter for electric, please bring coins for electric. Please further bring your own towels and tea towels. Sheets and duvets and pillows are provided and made up for your arrival. Please bring extra duvets etc for winter warmth. The chalet has electric for heating and cooking. Electric fires and oil filled radiators are provided.

South Shore Holiday village at Wilsthorpe near Bridlington is a great location for not only Bridlington, but Scarborough, Bempton, Filey, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Staithes, Beverley and York and the North Yorkshire Moors. Further down, Skipsea, Hornsea and Hull. Lots to explore and a visit to the East Coast of Yorkshire has a lot to offer and the chalet is a great place as a base to explore further afield.
