Annex in the heart of Selsey

The beach at Selsey is within view, being literally only a minute's walk from the front door and there are excellent walks along the beach as well as fishing, for which the village is renowned. There is a good selection of village shops and for more extensive shopping, Chichester lies about nine miles to the north. Selsey has its own golf course and is within easy driving distance of the courses at Chichester and Goodwood. There is very good sailing in the nearby villages of Itchenor and Bosham. The Downs are just to the north of Chichester and the many attractions at Goodwood are with half an hour's drive. These include horse racing and the Revival Meeting along with the Festival of Speed. Chichester also has a world famous Festival Theatre. This location, which enjoys some of the best weather in the U.K. is a great destination for people requiring a quiet break or an active holiday, with lots of museums to visit (including the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum at Singelton), the Spinnaker Tower at Portsmouth and Polo at Cowdray. The South Downs offer beautiful scenic walks and panoramic views and in addiotion to the beach at Selsey, there is an excellent sandy one at West Wittering.
