The view at this site was unbelievable. The owners have also very smartly separated sites so it feels very private. There were not many frills, but I was not looking for frills. It was a top notch no-frills clamping experience with a view like...

While away the hours admiring the spectacular views of the Black Mountains at Campton Hill Wild Camping, Monmouthshire. Just 10 minutes drive from the relaxed market town of Abergavenny and 25 minutes from the city of Hereford, the location is perfect for walking, sightseeing and browsing the shops. This peaceful dog-friendly site is completely private with 'off-grid' luxuriously furnished bell tents that sleep up to four people. Each tent has access to a private eco-toilet, washstand and open-air hot shower, fire pit and picnic bench, and are in a beautiful location with gorgeous views. Part of a working farm down a private farm lane half a mile from the nearest road, the surroundings are tranquil and peaceful. The site is also nicely connected to several walking trails, including the huge Offa's Dyke footpath within a five minutes drive. With several wonderful pubs within easy access, including the 'Skirrid Inn', Wales oldest pub, you can kick back and enjoy a pint of ale or a glass of wine and a lovely meal before heading back to your tent to put your feet up and admire the view.
