Welcome to Castle Gates cottage, situated in the heart of the historic village of Rhuddlan and opposite the wonderfully preserved Rhuddlan Castle. Located just metres from a choice of independant cafes, traditional village pubs and local artisan shops, Castle Gate is an excellent retreat. Whether you are setting up a base for trips into Snowdonia, visiting the sandy beaches of North Wales, doing a tour of Welsh castles or just want to enjoy a few days of friendly, welcoming village life, this property is just what you need. Newly renovated to a high standard throughout, Castle Gates offers a comfortable stay with many modern amenities. Downstairs there is a large kitchen complete with a dishwasher & washing facilities as well as eco-friendly sundries, an office area and a living room with a flatscreen smart tv. Upstairs boasts a double bedroom with an oak king size sleigh bed, with stunning views of Rhuddlan castle. An en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower makes the stay even more luxurious. The cottage also has a large garden with a decked area, perfect for al fresco dining. Castle Gates can offer a level of both comfort and privacy many other properties cannot.

Neighborhood info

Rhuddlan is home to a number of excellent local cafes, pubs, beauty parlours and boutique stores including a Cheesemonger! However, the main attraction for the village is the wonderfully preserved medieval castle, Rhuddlan Castle, which is open to the public between April - October. Other notable local nearby attractions include the stunning stately home Bodrhyddan Hall, Dyserth Waterfall and Rhuddlan Golf Course.
