Take a leisurely walk along the Fife Coastal Path for fantastic views across the sea, or hire bikes to explore the surrounding countryside. There are also plenty of opportunities for golfing, fishing, and birdwatching. Crail boasts several attractions, including an award-winning ice cream parlour and top-quality restaurants. And if you're feeling adventurous, why not try your hand at some water sports? The local area offers excellent facilities for windsurfing, sailing and kayaking. Crail is just a short drive from Kingsbarns, St Andrews, and Elie, with a selection of beautiful beaches, perfect for family days out filled with sandcastle building, rock pooling, ice creams, and picnics. Whilst in St Andrews, you could also soak up some culture and visit one of the museums in the town —there’s the Bell Pettigrew for budding biologists, the R&A World Golf Museum for fans of the ‘beautiful game’, and the Wardlaw Museum for those interested in the history of the university.
