Peter and Tracey welcome you to our luxury Shepherd hut on our equine property within the village of Charlton in Worcestershire. We are both partially retired and love looking after our animals, horses, dogs and our rescue chickens. We are both well travelled and over the years have visited many countries. We love meeting people and love to share our space to offer a rural experience for our guests. We are proud to share with you our lovely Shepherd hut, Wood fired Hot Tub and wood fired Sauna. Private and secluded for your stay. We have had our land for over 30 years and now diversifying our equine small holding to offer guests an exceptional experience. Welcome to Charlton Glamping . Peter will greet you on your stay to go through the Sauna and Hot Tub briefing. This is for your own health and safety . If you have health conditions, pregnant or prone to heart disorders then we are not liable and can only warn you about these risks. We provide an overview for you to read on your arrival. This is so you can enjoy our facilities without putting yourselves at risk of accident or health issues. The wood stoves only take wood , this is explained to you at the briefing. No rubbish , cardboard or coals must never be added to the wood fired stoves. This is so particles do not enter the water . We also offer recycling, please be mindful of disposing of your rubbish in the required waste bins provided.

Sit in the sauna and look and gaze at the panoramic view . In the summer you can see our horses the sheep and wildlife whilst you relax. Each night stay includes enough wood , fire lighters and kindle to light the sauna and hot tub for the evening . Only wood can be put in the Tub/Sauna stoves . A hot tub and sauna briefing will be needed to be read and understood before you use the facilities.This is for your own health and safety. Please note : BBQ charcoals not supplied. The village of Charlton is steeped in history . On 30 th July 1872 the church in Charlton was opened by a Henry Workman. You can read more about the history of the village in transcripts and history notes . Charlton is centrally located to get to many places of interest . Broadway 15 mins , Pershore 10 mins, Tewkesbury 20 mins. The Malvern hills are less than a 40 min drive . Upton on seven , hosts many music nights , live bands and festivals throughout the year. Take a boat for cream tea trips. Blues/summer festivals all at Upton Stratford upon Avon has many attractions with the Royal Shakespeare Theatre , markets and river side attractions. Charlton is located on the edge of the Cotswolds is a perfect location to visit or decide on your short stay. Evesham is a small market town situated on the river Avon, most weekends in the summer it hosts attracts , such as medieval markets, the asparagus auctions, the boat festival , battle of Evesham. Pershore hosts the plum festival which attracts thousands of visitors each year. Being 20 mins from Ragley Hall, which hosts the Game Fair in July. Charlton also has Clicker gun dog training which is in walking distance from our hut.Book your stay whilst on your courses. Take advantage of the pop up restaurants which appear in the local villages. 15 mins from J 6 and 7 off the M5 . If wild swimming is your thing then we are 5 minutes from Bishampton lakes and 10 mins to the Lenches lakes . These places offer fresh water swimming all year round. Visit the Regal cinema in Evesham for an authentic back in time with a modern twist. Also No8 theatre /Cinema in Pershore which is a community place to watch the latest shows and films. Horse riding, local equestrian events . Horses can be accommodated on requests if you were competing in the area, combine with a shepherd hut stay. Angling clubs.
