Nestled in the grounds of our 2 acre garden with your own private entrance and ample private parking you will find Chestnut Cottage The cottage benefits from its own enclosed cottage garden and sunny courtyard, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee overlooking the orchard and paddock beyond. For our smaller guests we have a range of children’s books, outside toys, board games and toys. A high chair and travel cot is available on request though we do ask that you bring your own bedding

The cottage is located ten minutes walk from Brockenhurst train station 1.4hrs to London Waterloo) and ten minutes walk to the bars, pubs and shops in the village. We are less than 5 minutes walk from both Balmer Lawn and Carey’s Manor hotels. The village is well serviced by train, local bus services and a hop on, hop off bus service in the summer. Connecting Southampton, Lymington (ferry to IOW) Bournemouth and Poole We are located in the middle of the New Forest Park, walking out our gates you be in the forest in under 100 steps! You will often find horses, donkeys, deer and even long horn cattle outside our gates. We are surrounded by great walking and biking trails (we provide secure bike storage) and bikes can be hired in the village Prefer water sports? The Lymington river and estuary provide opportunities for kayaking, kite surfing or sailing If you prefer something less energetic the Lymington harbour’s also a great crabbing spot !
