Chy Bownder is a cosy semi-detached modern cottage in the centre of the old Cornish capital, Lostwithiel. It is tucked away down a quiet lane with easy and reasonably flat access to the town. It is family and dog friendly with a secure patio garden. One private parking space is provided. Additional parking is less than 50 meters away in the free car park. Beautiful scenic riverside and woodland walks are nearby as well as stunning Cornish coastline and beaches just a few miles away.
Hi! I would describe myself as a polite, friendly person that enjoys being busy, active and meeting people. Having 20 years experience of working in the hospitality industry, I decided to rent out our private annex conversion and manage another property in Lostwithiel. It's great fun hosting and ensuring guests get the best out of their stay. Lostwithiel is a beautiful place to stay and explore the countryside and coast nearby. All arrival information is sent to guests 7 days before arrival. The door code will be sent the day before check-in. Guests can check in to Chy Bownder at their leisure using the lock box. I live nearby so if guests need me they can contact me straight away.
Lostwithiel is a small town that was once the old capital of Cornwall. It has so much to offer from pubs to high end restaurants, shops, cafe's and a vibrant, friendly community. There is a convenience store with a cash point. A bus service and mainline train station are also situated close to Chy Bownder. It is a great area for enjoying the local scenery, river and woodland walks. Guests can park one vehicle next to the cottage and there is a free car park less than 50 metres down the lane. The train is an easy way to get around, located less than a 10 minute walk away from the property.
