Best B and B we’ve stayed in. Chris and Heidi have thought of everything to make your stay like a home from home. Made to feel really welcome, excellent room and breakfast. Perfect position for visiting Eden Project and we also loved Charlestown and Carlyon Beach. Will definitely stay longer next time.

Everything!! The kitchen was spacious and well stocked for cooking moderately elaborate meals, the coffee maker (rare to find in English rentals we have found), comfortable beds and the most luxurious linens I’ve ever felt against my skin, the perfect bathtub for soaking, the very walkable location. Oh and having an easy place to park a car! Ali is a fantastic host and is happy to answer any and all questions. We would definitely return to this place!

The local pub looked after the cottage on behalf of the owners and were always available. A very good breakfast was available at the pub which was across the road from the property. Also served evening meals. Ideal location for visiting The Eden Project and Lanhydrock House and Gardens. Love only 20 mins away.

Lostwithiel is known to us, having holidayed there over many years with relatives and friends. It is the perfect location to explore Cornwall with a local railway station and main road connections near to the town. There are many eating places, the Mess Hall and the Royal Oak are just two.

It's perfect for a stopover, as we have done a couple of times. It's basically a large village, but with lots of eating and drinking options and several independent shops. The kical butchers is excellent, as is the Sunny Spice South Indian restaurant - it's not "curries" but real Indian food - lots of fish and seafood options. If you want to try lots of local gins, then go to the Royal Oak - the gine menu is fantastic.

Lostwithiel is a lovely, old stannary town with historic buildings, a number of good restaurants/pubs/take-aways, a grocery co-op, fascinating museum, small shops, and cafes. There is a lovely walk along the river to a beautiful, old stone bridge. Park in the free parking lot. The Lostwithiel Festival in May is great fun with lots of good food and drink. Lostwithiel is centrally located for many great places to visit and activities, festivals, etc. in Cornwall.

We loved this Bed and Breakfast. It was top notch, yet comfortable and welcoming. There were six of us in our group and everyone felt the same way. We ate dinner at the Old Globe Inn. It was also excellent. Both places easily accommodated the dietary restrictions of one person in our group.

Very supportive and friendly staff, who were quick to assist, with any problem we had. The hotel was very well cleaned. My wife knows this, as she has worked in the hotel industry. As soon as we entered the hotel and she smelled the cleaning products fragrance, lingering in the air, she said they are doing there job properly.

Friendly welcome from staff and patrons. Lostwithiel is an untouristy (in the off season at least) but interesting town. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. The Royal Oak is truly dog friendly with no charge. A great place to stop on our way down into Cornwall.

Perfect hosts, perfect location for exploring Cornwall, perfect breakfast, perfectly clean, perfectly equipped accommodation. We stayed in the downstairs room that had a kitchen, so it was more like a suite than a room. Super dog friendly too. We will defintely be staying here again.
