Comfortable double room with double bed, sofa, Smart TV, super fast WiFi, kettle, tea & coffee provided. Clean & tidy modern townhouse. Off road parking available. The house is situated on a quiet, no through estate. Adjoining bathroom for guests sole use. Bodmin has proved a popular stop over for cyclists touring the County & further afield & with prior arrangement, it is possible for you to store your bikes overnight in the garage with prior booking.

I enjoy meeting people & hearing about their travels & love travelling too. I enjoy living in Cornwall & spend a lot of my time walking the SW Coast Path & can recommend plenty of circular walks. I am now semi-retired, working 3 days a week.

Bodmin is an ideal location to tour the area, as it is between the North & South coasts of Cornwall. I can recommend some lovely walks that I have personally done around Cornwall. Both coasts have superb beaches too. The nearest train station is Bodmin Parkway, 4 miles/12 mins by car. Taxi's are not always present at the station & advisable to pre-book beforehand. Bus service is fairly limited & very time consuming so I would recommend your own transport. Car Hire is available from Enterprise in Bodmin. The popular Lanhydrock National Trust is 2.5 miles/ 8 minutes drive from here. The house & gardens is highly recommended. The cycle hub is a popular addition to Lanhydrock NT. Bike hire is available during the day & it is great fun cycling around the trails. Cardinham Woods is also recommended for walking & mountain biking (bike hire also available) it has a number of varied routes for both activities. Local shop & fish & chip shop 5 min walk from the house. It's a 20 min walk or 5 min drive into town, where there are a number of pubs & restaurants. There are a number of supermarkets with fuel stations in Bodmin.
