Appledore has a range of shops, eateries and a pretty quay. For those who want a break from the stresses of daily life, it is easy to spend a week here enjoying the relaxed pace of village life. Sample the local pubs and restaurants, or perhaps catch the ferry across the estuary to the neighbouring village of Instow with its beach and yacht club. For guests who would like to explore more of the area, there is plenty to see and do within just a few miles of the property, including RHS Rosemoor, the heritage village of Clovelly and the 2-mile wide stretch of beach at Westward Ho!
