Your loft room is an idyllic romantic retreat for couples, tucked away in the beautiful Cornish countryside surrounded by nature. We are very well located with many popular tourist destinations such as St Ives, the Lizard peninsular, St Michaels Mount, Penzance, and the north coast within 30 minutes drive. Helston and Porthleven are just a short hop away by car.

I live and work in south west Cornwall with my husband Tim. I have also been hosting our beautiful loft room with ensuite for four years now. There are many reasons why I love hosting but I particularly enjoy meeting and welcoming new people to our newly restored and renovated cottage. It is also a real joy to share this amazing county with enthusiastic holiday makers and recommend our absolute favourite spots to visit. We love spending as much time outdoors as possible... walking, running, cycling, paddle boarding, surfing and swimming. We love to travel and explore new places, and we enjoy good food; cooking it, eating it and sharing it with good friends. We also have a passion for music and visit festivals and concerts when possible. As designers, we also both enjoy soaking up the history, culture and art of the places we visit as well.

It is a perfect escape for those seeking to explore Cornwall whilst also offering somewhere peaceful and relaxing to return to at the end of the day. We are ideally located in a small hamlet in the heart of Cornwall just outside Helston, with easy access to both north and south coast locations by car. We are set in a rural location with cows and sheep in the surrounding fields. Access is, down a bridal track lane and we have chippings on our driveway. If you have a lowered vehicle, sports car or long-wheelbase van/ motorhome, then we suggest that this property is unsuitable for you to book. We accept no responsibility for any damages incurred to your vehicle during your stay as we have been very clear on the nature of the surrounding terrain. While we are not within walking distance of any eateries, we have a long list of tried and tested recommendations and there is are also local take-away delivery services that will deliver here if you prefer. Previous guests have usually commented on how much they enjoy being able to explore a vast array of places in Cornwall due to our location. So whilst we have a peaceful rural surround - you can access a broad range of places very easily.
