On the hill above Auchencairn offering holiday accommodation with superb views to Auchencairn Bay, Hestan Isle together with the Solway Firth and Lake District beyond.

Neighborhood info

The village of Auchencairn is a 10 minute walk away. This charming small village has its own Post Office, shop and small tea room and offers some local produce when available. The Balcary Bay Hotel and coastal walks are approximately 2 1/2 miles away. The attractive towns of Kirkcudbright and Castle Douglas are both nearby and are both well worth exploring. The Solway Coast with its rugged headlands and sandy beaches is truly a gem and this timeless area is a superb location in which to relax and unwind with excellent opportunities for outdoor activities including golfing, forest walks, mountain biking and enjoying the wildlife be it at RSPB Mersehead Reserve or within the Galloway Forest Park.
