My Name is Chloe and I am your host whilst you are staying at the Coorie and Keek. I look forward to greeting you when you arrive. I am a working farmer's wife, indeed our farm also known as "The place of the Bishop" has been farmed by my husband's family for four generations. My roles are Mum, cook, bottle washer, lamb and calf and piglet feeder, as well as being the organiser of our holiday stays. Life is never quiet for me, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible, so please get in touch if you have any concerns or any questions about your accommodation or the farm in general.

Our location is very rural: there are a few shops in the local village, Whithorn, a great pub (The Railway) and a fish and chip shop, (the Central Cafe) but we do not have take away food delivery services or other "modern amenities". A taxi service may be available if Sunny is not already booked. However we boast Dark Skies,(bring your telescope or binoculars, or just lie back and stargaze), peace and tranquillity and the chance to learn about the workings of a modern farm. Within a few miles drive you will experience stunning coastlines, beaches, deep forests, waterfalls and ancient standing stones and prehistoric encampments. Bring your swimming costumes to indulge in cold water swimming. Excellent safe locations for wild swimming are within a few minutes drive of the huts, or a little further afield, you will find lochs and waterfalls. Known as the birthplace of Christianity in Scotland, this undiscovered area has so much to offer. Please ask us about the History of the area and interesting "must see sights and locations" to visit.
