The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling, with scenic riverbank paths heading into York. Dalby Forest is a great environment for a family day out, braided with walking and biking routes, and a Go Ape centre! A short drive away, Knaresborough has a bustling market square, quaint pubs, cafés, and shops along the River Nidd. In the summer, eat an ice cream and hire a row boat on the river. This gorgeous part of Yorkshire is a great place to visit any time of year.
