Everything was great! The place is very clean and cosy. The whole cottage has been renovated with love and an eye for details. There is a thermostat to control the temperature, a small radio to add to the British atmosphere, the kitchen is well...

The property was in a great location and was a home from home. The cottage had everything you could need when self catering

Neighborhood info

Cullercoats, a populated peninsula on the North East coast, lies midway between Tynemouth and Whitley Bay. When the village was founded in 1539, fishing and a local coal mining pit were the primary sources of income, as well as a port that exported salt and coal. Victorian terraces and preserved fishermen's cottages line Simpson Street in the village, which has some of the most interesting architecture in the area. American artist Winslow Home was a "Cullercoats Colony" member who wrote a popular song about the area called "The Cullercoats Fish Lass" in 1862.
