These high quality holiday homes are traditionally built Scottish cottages. Each has an open fireplace built from local stone for plenty of cosy log fires during your stay. Both our cottages combine the warmth and comfort of home with wonderful uninterrupted views of many Scottish West Coast islands. Awarded four stars by VisitScotland Quality Assurance.
Alison and Matthew have been caring for Craobh Haven Cottages for over 40 years, since the day they were built in 1982 as part of the new village of Craobh Haven. We take personal care and pride in keeping the cottages spotlessly clean, comfortably (and stylishly!) furnished, and well maintained inside and out. We renew fixtures and furnishings continuously, guided by guest feedback.
The small, friendly seaside village of Craobh Haven (pronounced ‘croove’, after the Gaelic for a small tree or shrub) nestles on the north shore of the Craignish peninsular, just opposite the island of Shuna. It is about half an hour south of Oban on the way to Lochgilphead, on Scotland’s beautiful West Coast. With some 40 houses and a purpose-built marina, the village has always welcomed holidaymakers and visiting yachtsmen. It is the ideal spot to get away from your daily routine, where you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, spot amazing wildlife, and just watch the boats coming and going in the harbour.
