"Dawn" is the name of our super dog/child friendly holiday bungalow. It is situated on the border of Hemsby and Winterton-on-Sea. The property is a detached bungalow set inside a fully enclosed and gated wraparound garden, laid to lawn with a patio area and lots of nice plants/trees. The sea is visible from the front of the property, and is a few minutes walk across a grassy valley. It's so close that you can easily make out seals bobbing about on the surface of the sea from the sitting room windows. We also see a lot of beautiful garden birds and a fox regularly comes in the garden. Dawn was derelict last autumn (2015) and we have spent more than a year renovating and extending her, right down to replacing the foundations, the walls and roof. The only things that remain from the original building are the Edwardian doors and lockable handles, which we really liked, the retro sliding door into the bathroom, and the chimney. The garden is fully enclosed with 4 foot tall fences at front and rear and 6 foot fences at sides, secure closing gates and a driveway for one car.

Horsey - Seals Amazing to watch this seal colony sprawled across the beach. Pupping season is late autumn to early spring. The Dolphin Bar A few footsteps away, the Dolphin Bar serves drinks and food and has live evening entertainment with sky sports TV. (Open only March - November. The Lacon Arms Dogs are welcome at the bar here. Open all year, this is the most popular Restaurant/Pub in Hemsby and serves wonderful meals. Hirsty's Family Park Fun for all the family. Open Spring, Summer, and Halloween. Hemsby - Beach Road Full of little shops selling Rock, Ice cream, Fish & Chips, Amusement Arcades, Adventure Golf, and various other restaurants leading you to the beach. Great Yarmouth Great Yarmouth has various amusements and theme parks which has entertained families for decades.
