Located in the village of Brundall, the centre for boat building and boat hire, which has its own railway station, shop/post office, mini-market, hairdresser, Chinese takeaway, fish and chip shop, Indian restaurant, Café & bakery and local pubs all serving good food; one is just across the river (accessible by own or hired boat, kayak or paddleboard), and one is within a short stroll. Boat and canoe* hire is available locally – pre booking is advised. *Discounts for canoe hire available for our guests. Don’t forget your kayaks, paddle boards etc. to explore the Norfolk Broads from your decking! (Please check river toll fees) For a city experience, hop on the train to Norwich for shopping, sightseeing, historic sites and nights out. Or, head to Great Yarmouth for a classic seaside day out—think fish and chips on the beach, ice cream and the family-friendly Pleasure Beach amusement park.
