Dorset House is one of Salcombe's beautiful Sea Captain's Houses. Experience luxury just moments from the centre of Salcombe. There are spectacular sea views throughout. A central spot for this spacious, light-filled Sea Captain’s House in the centre of Salcombe. Enjoy estuary and sandy beach views from every angle on three terraces; find a sociable table and barbecue for fair-weather dining and sun loungers surrounded by lavender and greenery. Pack up buckets, spades and fishing nets and jump on the Salcombe ferry over to sandy beaches in East Portlemouth or head to South Sands for paddle boarding. Walkers can join the South West Coast Path in town with spectacular paths in either direction – the route to Bolt Head is particularly inspiring. Cook in the well-equipped large open plan kitchen (with more dreamy views); find a wine fridge (and a welcome bottle) and cocktail corner kitted out with glasses and shaker – everything you need for a lively dinner party.
