Drummond Neuk, the smallest of our Annexes, offers a great base for exploring or just relaxing on Nairns award winning beaches and perfect for those who enjoy rural and peace! A few steps, with handrail, provides access to the single level property. The photos provide a clear indication of the facilities within Drummond Neuk. The open plan kitchenette/dining/sitting room is equipped with double hob, mini oven, microwave and cooking implements. Two bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and second with a single bed leading to the shower room. Both bedrooms are set off the open plan living area. You will have 3 acres of private garden to use as your own with a picnic bench and other seating areas scattered around the grounds. Actually, you may have to share the garden with many different animals including our two wee dogs, and birds who tend to treat it as their own too, Squirrels being the main guests! The grounds are fully fenced making this a secure area for your pet and also has a guest private parking area next to Drummond Neuk.
Bill and I, along with Ruby our poodle, will be here to welcome you. We adore all things animal and are more than happy for you to bring your furry friends at no extra charge. As we live next door, we are never far away if you need anything to make your stay a memorable one. We look forward to meeting and hosting your stay at Drummond Neuk.
Very quiet rural area! A 100m walk is Loch Flemington known to bird-watchers across the world as it has been designated as a Special Protection Area (SPA) and is an internationally important breeding site for Slavonian grebe and a range of other rare, indigenous plants and animals including breeding Swans. The beautiful loch is also said to have had in it an island, upon which a castle once stood – in very dry summers its foundations can be seen. The Loch was at one time was considered one of the best places in Scotland to fish for trout. Perfect for visits to Castles, Loch Ness, Chanonry Point for Dolphin watching, Culloden Moor, Golf Courses and Nairn's Blue Ribbon beaches. Inverness - 11 mile trip Nairn - 5.8 miles Cawdor - 4 miles Ardersier - 2.8 miles
