This is a centrally located one bedroom flat in a converted Manor House in East Linton, situated on the River Tyne. This is an ideal location from which to explore and enjoy the many delights of East Lothian and its easy access to Edinburgh.
The apartment has access to a magical large peaceful garden which is accessible through the bedroom door at the back of the building.
East Linton has great food options, including the award winning public house The Crown and Kitchen.
I am a creative producer who works in the arts and media. I was born in London and my family are from Edinburgh. Myself and my partner Iain live in London and enjoy welcoming visitors to two apartments in Scotland.
I was born in London and have a connection with the Edinburgh and East Lothian, originally through my Dad the footballer John White who played for Tottenham Hotspur and was a Scottish International footballer.
The keys are housed within a key safe by the front door. Once you have made a reservation on the lead up to the rental period we will share the code number.
East Linton is a fabulous small village, ideally placed to access the sites of East Lothian and Edinburgh. The village is a thriving place, with two pubs (The Crown is opposite) and also has an award winning butcher, a farm shop with local produce and a cafe, a newsagents and a mini co-operative supermarket.
There is a (comfortable) hourly bus service from central East Linton to Edinburgh city centre (this takes about 50 mins). There are also buses to North Berwick, Haddington and Dunbar. The train from and to London and Edinburgh stops at Drem and Dunbar both about a 15 minute drive away. Newcraighall (20 mins drive) on the city bypass which is then a 10 min train ride to Edinburgh.
