East Lodge was built in 1828 by Sir Jeffrey Wyatville for the Earl of Tankerville. It is in the grounds of Chillingham Castle, a foremost visitor attraction in the county. East Lodge is a fantasy castle for four people. This is the first season it will be available for holiday lets.
Max was a motor racing driver, you may spot the occasional clue to this. I have created a comfortable space with a traditional feel and all modern conveniences. A huge walk in shower to warm you after your long walks on our local and world renowned beaches. A wood burning stove fire to crackle away while you have an evening drink and a fully equipped kitchen for those lobsters your bought on the coast in Craster. All in all a cost and quirky base to explore mountains and beaches.
Chillingham Castle is a premier tourist attraction in Northumberland. We are situated in a beautiful quiet corner of the least populated county in England. We are a stones throw from huge, wide, sandy beaches and the scenic hills.
