Andrew & Laura took over the hotel at the end of June 2017. Andrew has a background in the clothing manufacturing sector and Laura is a qualified accountant.

Property info

Ferndale Lodge is a grand detached Victorian Villa built in 1880. The building retains many of it's original features such as high ceilings, ornate cornices and decorative plaster work. There is a lovely south facing terrace where guests can enjoy expansive views over the town of Torquay. The free on site car park is entered via St. Marychurch Road, where guests have direct access to the reception area, lounge and bar. All the rooms and guest areas have free wifi and the bedrooms are all 'on suite' with toilet, sink and shower. Being set back from the main road, and surrounded by woodland, the property enjoys a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Andrew & Laura look forward to welcoming you as guests at Ferndale Lodge.

Neighborhood info

We are at the town center end of St. Marychurch Road: near to the town hall and library. The area is known as Castle Circus.
