Fernhill Hideaway is tucked away surrounded by woods, fishing lakes and a short walk through the woods leading to Lyme Regis's outstanding golf course. There is a bus stop right outside on the road for transport around the local area. There is a hotel on the grounds which allows use of their heated outdoor swimming pool which requires calling hotel prior to book the use of it. They also take bookings for afternoon teas and evening meals. This as well as the swimming pool runs less frequently out of peak season summer months so recommend calling in advance. The property has the most wonderful surroundings and areas to sit where you can see the rolling hills and picturesque Jurassic coastline. If you are a keen sports person then it is an ideal getaway bolthole as the golf course is so near you can walk too allowing yourself to have a drink at the bar with a nice lunch and stroll back. The lakes on the grounds are so peaceful and a perfect spot to do a bit of fishing with a picnic.

The surrounding local area is one that is world famous including attractions such as the Jurassic coastline you can walk along or visit, museums and exhibitions show casing the world famous Mary Anning's fossils, beautiful beaches on Fernhill Hideaways doorstep, one side is Charmouth and the other Lyme Regis both within walking distance or if you prefer to drive they are 5 minutes by car or bus which is directly outside the property. There are spectacular walks and landmarks such as Golden Cap, Stonebarrow all of which have the most breath taking views. There are regular markets in the local towns of Axminster and Bridport on every week.
