Known as the gateway to the isles, guests can easily take a day trip from Oban to Iona or Mull, and be back in time to sample the various culinary delights. There are boat trips available for sea fishing as well as permit fishing at many lochs including Loch Etive, Loch Awe, Loch Scammadale and Loch Melfort, where you can fish for salmon and trout. There is also a leisure centre, play park, tennis courts and bowling green within a short walk too. The area of Argyll surrounding Oban has so much to offer all ages and interests.
