Fisherman’s Cottage, Higher Street is a beautiful period building situated in one of the prettiest roads in Brixham. The street is just one road back from the shops and restaurants close to the famous All Saints Church. The Harbour is a few minutes walk away, as is Furzeham Green, with its fabulous views and beautifully kept gardens. The Manor Pub is several houses along the road, a historic building, with regular live music and a great vibe! The Thai restaurant "At Thai" in Middle Street is a 3 minute walk and is highly recommended. There are lots of independent shops in this street, all worth a visit. Art shops, boutiques and gift shops. Chris Slack, a local photographer has a great shop in Middle Street selling his fantastic photography in many forms. The Breakwater Beach is accessible on foot from the cottage, as are the various coves along the South West Coastal Path. This 3 bedroomed, terraced cottage provides all the home comforts and the uniqueness of a traditional fisherman's cottage. The small galley kitchen has just been refurbished and has some brand new appliances and is well equipped. There is a small courtyard off the kitchen. The family bathroom has a bath and a shower. The main bedroom has a Kingsize Bed, the second bedroom houses 2 single beds and the top room has a small double. The lounge is at the front of the property with ample opportunity to see the hustle and bustle of daily Brixham life. There is a dining room between the lounge and kitchen. The surrounding cottages have locals and holiday makers alike and it's a very friendly street with a great holiday feel.
