Fitz House is an old Victorian house with a bohemian feel. There is one ensuite Double guest room with a colonial style balcony with lovely views and on the first floor a small Twin Room with ensuite shower room with views of the fells. The Double room is on the ground floor and the small Twin is on the first floor. We are in good proximity to all cafes and restaurants as well as two excellent supermarkets. PLEASE NOTE We do not provide breakfast . There are many places to eat within a minutes walk from the house. PLEASE ALSO NOTE that we have a cat on the premises so it is not advised for anyone who has severe allergies to cats to stay here. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PETS OF ANY KIND HERE. Latest check in time for guest arrival is 10.00 p.m. We do not have a private car park although there is on street parking nearby and we can direct you to a road where you could park free not far from the house. Please ask on arrival.
My name is Sophie and I am really happy to welcome you to my house in Keswick next to the relaxing river Greta and Fitz Park. Come and unwind in amongst the lakes and mountains and after a day hiking enjoy a great nights sleep on our super Double and Twin Beds with latex toppers for extra comfort. I feel that the most important thing about a stay away is firstly a bed that you can sink into without tossing and turning all night! The next thing is to get out into nature and enjoy the freedom of the mountains and beautiful scenery Keswick has to offer!
This is a quiet and peaceful part of town. Just out of the noisy central area but only within 3 minutes walk of the town and all its amenities. There is a lovely park right next door as well as Keswick Museum and Fitz Park and the river. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO PARKING PROVIDED AND IT IS UP TO GUESTS TO FIND PARKING. Please also note that latest check in time for guests is 10.00p.m and we will not be available after this time.
