Property info

Nestled in the heart of historic Dochfour Gardens, this former gardener's cottage has been reimagined to provide a peaceful holiday haven offering stunning views over the loch and grounds. Entering through the arboretum you will then be directed to the cottage with its own enclosed space. Guests not only have their own private garden complete with wood fired hot tub and fire pit area but also direct access to the arboretum. A world with in a world surrounded by wonderful views and wildlife, yet only 10 minutes from the amenities of Inverness.

Where you’ll be The house is an ideal base to explore the Highlands, set at the top of Loch Ness and super close to the vibrant City of Inverness. Despite its remote location it is only 25 minutes from the Airport and 15 minutes from the nearest train station. A 10 minute drive will take you into the city centre with all its restaurants, shops and live music venues. Local grocery shops and a farm shop (Farm Ness) are all between 5 - 10 minutes away and the starting point to cruise Loch Ness at Dochgarroch is also about 5 minutes. There are many restaurants to choose from and beautiful walks abound. the North Coast 500 is also easily accessible. Golf courses, distilleries, leisure cruises, adventure sports are all a short distance and for the more retail minded, woollen mills, tweed and cashmere shops are all over the area.
