Our 'Garden View Apartment' is 3 miles from Salcombe. Although it is a studio open plan apartment, it is not compromised by head height or space. The kitchen is fully fitted with a hob, cooker, and microwave. The bathroom has a full-size bath and large separate shower cubicle, towels are provided. The bed is a huge queen size 6ft with quality sheets and bedding provided The raised decked area with seating is perfect for dining alfresco in the morning sun. Alternatively, you are now able to enjoy the secluded, private patio area set in the top corner of the back garden. This area gets the last of the evening sun, so perfect for a BBQ The apartment is set apart from the main house, and is lovely and peaceful. You will not be disturbed by the owners in residence, unless you wish to contact them. It is perfectly located for access to many beaches and walks, and we are happy to provide any advice or information including a map of the local area and a guest welcome letter giving useful information to ensure you have a wonderful stay.

Hello, my name is Jo, and I have lived in the area all of my life so far!! I have had several years experience in hospitality including owning and running The Old Inn, one of the pubs in the village of Malborough, with my daughter Sophie. Since selling I have run a very successful B&B, and now am diverting my energy into our self-catering apartment. I love to go out on our boat for a trip up the estuary, or a spot of very unsuccessful fishing, a glass of wine or two in the sunshine, and dining out in the many beautiful restaurants and pubs in the area. Purely to gain information to pass onto guests, and to keep up with the ever changing ownerships of the local pubs!

Malborough itself has two local pubs, 'The Old Inn' that has recently re-opened after a refurbishment and now is serving food, and 'The Royal Oak' which hosts live music most weekends. There is a large local Asda which opens early until late every day, and is perfect for grabbing a bottle of wine, and provisions for the apartment. Local walks are just on your doorstep, and a designated path to Salcombe take just 45 minutes to walk to. A bus stop is located at the end of the road, and runs hourly to Salcombe, and Kingsbridge, where further buses can be caught if you fancy exploring the area some more.
