George Hudson Court Apartments consists of 3 well presented 1 bedroom apartments with double sofa bed to accommodate up to 4 (2 adults 2 young children) guests per apartment. Situated in a secure gated complex off the historic street of Monkgate the apartments consist of 2 ground floor units and 1 fist floor unit next to each other. *Please note Monks Retreat does not include a sofa bed therefore only sleeps 2. Monks Retreat: A one king size bed apartment with shower over bath and full kitchen facilities, smart TV & Free Wifi. The apartment has seating in the outside courtyard and secure parking a short 3 minute walk away. Ground Floor Apartment: A one king size bed apartment with sofa bed to accommodate one adult or 2 smaller children. The apartment has shower over bath and full kitchen facilities, smart TV & Free Wifi. Parking is located in space number 1 in the secure courtyard for one medium sized car. First Floor Apartment: A one king size bed apartment with sofa bed to accommodate one adult or 2 smaller children. The apartment has shower over bath and full kitchen facilities, smart TV & Free Wifi. Parking is located in space number 3 in the secure courtyard for one medium sized car. All properties benefit from car parking, Monks Retreat car paring space is located a short walk away in a secure car park whilst apartments 1 & 3 have parking within the courtyard. Please note car parking spaces are small as the property is a courtyard. Please be aware that only standard size vehicles can be accommodated. The property is set within a secure gated development close to Monkbar. Ideally located just outside the Monkgate City Walls and a very short walk from the magnificent Minster.

Having lived in York most of my life I can't recommend a better city for your holiday, the Monkgate area of town is a perfect base for exploring the city and has great transport links to Yorkshire. Less than five minutes walk is the fabulous Monk Bar which you can access the bar walls and start your walk around the city or of course visit the famous York Minster. Whatever your reason behind your visit to York you will find everything is in easy access from the apartment.
