Have your first cup of tea of the day in bed with a view of Godrevy Lighthouse and the sea. A short walk to Carbis Bay beach with its cafe, bar and restaurant and a mile from St Ives. Private drive with free parking space. A short walk to the coastal path towards either PorthKidney Beach and the Hayle Estuary or towards Porthminster Beach in St Ives. In addition a beautiful moorland walk through the Steeple Nature Reserve up to Knills Monument with its panoramic views is at the end of the road. NB: The property is open plan, the living room is open plan to the kitchenette and dining area and stair way to the bedroom upstairs. The upstairs bedroom is open to the stairway. Please be aware of this if you have young children. Also if you are adults sharing and using the sofa-bed the bathroom is only accessible by walking through the upstairs bedroom so make sure you are good friends! There is also some head height restriction above the fridge in the kitchenette as it is built under the stairs so mind your head when you are getting the milk out of the fridge.

We love Cornwall and St Ives and are happy to host people coming to visit this lovely part of the UK. We love running on the coastal path, paddle boarding on the Hayle estuary and surfing and body boarding over at Gwithian Beach. We have a cockerpoo called Chewie and a tortoiseshell cat called Lola. Chewie loves his walks to the beach and Menhyr Park and the Steeple Nature Reserve at the end of our road. We also enjoy the great music scene in St Ives. We have 3 children aged 19-24.

Carbis Bay Beach is 12 minutes walk (maybe 15 minutes up hill on the way back!) and St Ives is 25 mins along the coastal path. Yvette's Pantry is a lovely Bakery a couple of minutes walk away on St Ives Road. There is a Tesco supermarket a few minutes walk from the property.
