Gowanlea Heights is a Visit Scotland four-star GOLD Bed and Breakfast in a great part of Campbeltown. In fact, it's the only four-star GOLD B&B in Kintyre! It is nice and quiet yet only a five - minute walk from the centre. Gowanlea Heights B&B is an 1870 Victorian House once owned by the Duke of Argyll and passed to Duncan Ferguson, Procurator for the Duke of Argyll until 1881. Now this stylish bed and breakfast in Campbeltown is waiting for you to stay!
John and David live here in Campbeltown, with their two teenage children and a gentle giant of a dog called Gino. We moved here in 2019 because we just fell in love with the whole area. It's ideally placed on the Kintyre 66, the scenery is unbeatable, and it's a great place for kids to grow up in. We've loads of experience in hospitality, and we're all looking forward to your stay!
Campbeltown is well-known for its whisky as well as its stunning scenery. There's a wide variety of independent shops and café's as well as some fantastic places to dine out in. Some of our guest come for the whisky tours, the gin tours and, of course, golf As well as boasting all of this there's a wealth of historic sites to visit too.
