Grebe Cottage is set over three floors and consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and a washing machine, a dining area with seating for five guests and a sitting area with Smart TV and a woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a king-size, a second-floor twin and a single, serviced by a bathroom. Outside there is a communal courtyard with furniture, and roadside parking is available. Within 0.1 miles you will find a shop and a pub and within 0.5 miles, a beach and please note that two well-behaved dogs are welcome but sorry, no smoking. Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea.
