Our newly refurbished accommodation Greenbanks 2 is ideal for two people and is fully equipped with everything you could need for a break in the country of walking, riding, cycling and more. If outdoor activities are not your cup of tea, this New Forest holiday apartment allows you to enjoy the spectacular sunrises, sunsets and views of the Damerham countryside from your very own patio. At our property we do allow children of any age or pets no mater how small or well behaved.
Hi. My name is Carol, I am married to Barry and we have 1 son. We have been running Damerham self Catering since 2013. We love to meet our guests and enjoy hearing about their days out. Lots of our gusets return year after year and become good friends. Barry is the gardener in our house and he grow lots of salad and vegetables in our garden which our guests are welcome to help themselves as available . We also have chicken who lay fresh eggs every morning for your breakfast. You are welcome to visit the girls and pick your eggs straight from the nest. If you enjoy running my husband Barry is a keen runner and he would be happy to let you know of route of various lengths around the local area or in the New Forest do not hesitate to ask when you arrive.
Greenbanks is in the lovely village of Damerham which is nestled between the edge of the New Forest and the Cranbourne Chase. Damerham is situated on both sides of the Allen River in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With the New Forest only 5 minutes’ drive away, Bournemouth and the south coast approximately 30 minutes in one direction and the medieval market city of Salisbury in the other, Damerham makes an excellent base for your perfect getaway. There are also lots of walks and bike rides on our door step. If you prefer not to wander to far you are welcome to stay in the garden and enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to the sounds of the countryside all around.
