Greencourt is a modern bright two-storey property with 6 guest rooms and sunny breakfast room on the upper floor. The house is situated in a unique West-facing position on the edge of the town's long-established outdoor Bowling Club. The views from the house are special, offering a restful bird's-eye view of the bowling green, with partial views of Oban Bay, Kerrera and the Isle of Mull beyond. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a contemporary style, with solid oak furnishings and excellent quality soft furnishings. Bedrooms are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including TV, hospitality trays, high quality linens and towels, hairdryers, complimentary toiletries, with additional pillows and blankets available. Guests enjoy free parking for their vehicle in our private cark park at the house. The town centre and promenade are a short 5 minute walk away. The most direct walking route from the town is up a slight incline via a short lane - an alternative flatter route adds just a few minutes to the walk. Greencourt is situated in a very quiet spot yet close to the town, and guests can enjoy a really restful stay in peaceful surroundings.

There are many stunning places to visit when using Oban as a holiday base, with lots of opportunities to observe the beautiful wildlife and landscape all around. The history and heritage of the area is fascinating, with many castles, historic sites and venues available to visit, such as Dunollie House, Dunstaffnage Castle and Kilmartin Glen. Other attractions include The Hollow Mountain at Ben Cruachan hydro power station, McCaig's Tower, and Oban's local museum. Oban is an ideal base for making daytrips to many of the islands, and guests can enjoy a wide range of opportunities to take part in water sports, hillwalking and other outdoor activities. The quality and choice of locally sourced food, drink and produce is excellent which visitors can enjoy first hand in the town's range of cafes, restaurants, shops and bars.
