Halwell Lodge offers high-quality bed and breakfast in Lelant, an 11-minute drive from St Ives. This beautiful coastal village is home to West Cornwall Golf Club, a 10-minute walk away, and Halwell Lodge provides stylish en suite accommodations with free parking and Wi-Fi. Beds are furnished with crisp cotton bedding and cozy duvets. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities and a selection of glossy magazines. A cooked Cornish breakfast with locally produced meats is served each morning, along with scrambled egg and bacon muffins and a choice of cereals, yogurt and fruit salad. There is a continental option with fresh croissants and pastries, juice, tea, coffee and toast. Nearby St Ives has beautiful beaches, cobbled streets and a thriving arts scene, along with some excellent restaurants. Lelant is within easy reach of west Cornwall’s other main towns, with Penzance just 16 minutes’ drive and Helston 24 minutes.

Property info

Halwell was built in 1925 and the house retains many of its original period features. The dining room and conservatory can be used by guests throughout their stay. The house is surrounded by a large garden well stocked with mature plants and trees. There are views of the Hayle estuary from the garden. Tables and sun loungers are available for the use of guests. The house is decorated throughout with the owners' collection of paintings both modern and older, featuring mainly Cornish artists and locations.
